A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

Faryl Smith, the Sweet Swan of Kettering Sings “Ave Maria” on Britain’s Got Talent

Faryl Smith

Faryl Smith,   a young lass of 12 years,  descended upon the joust of “Britain’s Got Talent”,  the British television talent show on ITV.  From Kettering, a town in Northamptonshire, England, this enchanting girl didst walk upon the stage of competition.   Perhaps  Polyhymnia,  one of the Muses,  was by her side,  as Faryl sang the breathtaking  “Ave Maria”.

With great care this sacred song’s notes fell through her youthful hands and followed a blessed effluence.   After a moment of reflection, the audience were brought to their feet in a standing ovation.

The audition video is not available, but she sings “Ave Maria” on “This Morning” show.

Like Andrew Johnston,  another young contestant in this joust,  Faryl sings with a choir,  the Masquerade Choir,  in Northamptonshire.   She also was a winner at Llangollen’s International Musical Eisteddfod in 2006 when she was just 10.

Faryl is our “Sweet Swan of Kettering”,  that has dazzled the lake with her song of grace.

Dear Faryl,  so sweet and so lovely,  you left the audience crowned with smiles.  You have moved us all in Camelot.  We will watch for you,  where roses and white lilies grow.

Fare thee well as you continue to joust with grace.

    Update on Faryl Smith

Faryl Smith has been on the “Britain’s Got Talent” tour with the rest of the top contestants. The sell-out tour, has proved so popular that the organisers have added a further 10 shows to the original 12-date tour. Once she completes the tour she will make the decision regarding signing a potential contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music company.

It has also been reported that she may sing at Amanda Holden’s wedding.

    Congratulations Faryl

  5. Faryl has played on the world stage as an angel of the Lord and as such she has come in first in the eyes and ears of all those who understand how she has honored the gift that God has given her. He is well-pleased with her performance. And further her goal of pleasing her Father has been met and surpassed. No one is qualified to judge that performance but the Lord Himself. Simon was correct when he said, she is special.

  6. Lady Sharon says:

    Dear Mike,

I thanketh you for your lovely comment. It is true that when we use our gifts, that is when we are most like angels. We all have gifts and Faryl has found one of hers. If she continues to sing, she will touch many lives as her voice communicates grace.

Faryl Smith has made her CD debut with Britain’s Got Talent star finalist Andrew Johnston.
Faryl, 13, of Kettering, sings Walking In The Air with choirboy Andrew on his album One Voice. You can hear a sample on Andrew’s Website.
