A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

Leona Lewis Speaks to Help Prevent Animal Cruelty

Leona Lewis, the British singer who won the talent show “The X Factor”, has made a video to support the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA).

At present, the WSPA is leading a campaign for a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW), that will help to end animal cruelty. Recently the WSPA and key governments hosted a series of meetings at the United Nations during “World Animal Week”. The UN leaders heard how good animal welfare helps to improve food security, combat poverty and protect the environment.

A Universal Declaration will establish that animals can feel pain and suffer, and encourage governments to make and enforce laws that benefit animals – laws that can also protect people and the environment.

If you wish to join Leona to show world leaders that millions of people believe Animals Matter, you may sign the petition.

For those of us who suffer constant pain, we understand suffering. Animals do not have a voice, so we must speak for them. They have a right not to suffer on this earth. We should commit to being their guardians on this earth.

We say a special prayer tonight for all those animals who suffer in silence. God Bless them all.
