Knights of the Pain Table

A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

Remember the Fallen, Remembering Those in Fort Hood

Remembrance

On November 5th this week,   a tragedy unfolded. A murderous rampage took place at Fort Hood,   the Texas Army base in the U.S. A gunman opened fire in the Soldier Readiness Center at the largest American military base in the world and after 10 minutes 13 people had lost their lives and 30 others were left wounded.

As we approach Remembrance Day,   let us tonight remember these fallen soldiers and their families. In Camelot we bow our heads and thank them for all that they sacrificed.

“REMEMBER me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;

When you can no more hold me by the hand,

Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann’d:
Only remember me; you understand”

With Solemn Sadness,
