Lady Gaga,   who is shaking up the music and fashion world,    is tearing up the music charts again with her new single,   “Bad Romance”   from her upcoming re-release entitled,   “The Fame: Monster” album. Her newest single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 this week at #9.

On Monday (November 2nd),    she made history becoming the first artist, since the inception of monitored airplay,    to have four number one hits from a debut album. “The Fame”   has sold over four million copies worldwide since its release last October. The singles from the album have sold over 25 million copies. The album will drop on November 24th. The video for this new single will debut on Monday.

During Paris Fashion Week,   Lady Gaga premiered   “Bad Romance”   at the Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection Plato’s Atlantis.

King Arthur and many of the fashion designers from Camelot attended this show to preview the latest in armour for our  trendsetting  Knights.   Our designers were not disappointed. We thinketh those sabatons are so avant-garde for the Knight’s feet. And with a 2010 twist, the bascinet with intimidating horns would scare any opponent. Bravo Alexander!

Alexander McQueen is an English fashion designer, who has earned   “British Designer of the Year”,   four times. His early runway collections developed his reputation for controversy and shock tactics. Alexander has also been awarded the  CBE   (Order of the British Empire).

We thanketh Alexander McQueen for bringing chivalry and King Arthur’s world into his 2010 collection.   We thanketh Lady Gaga for daring to have an artistic vision and having the courage to express that vision. With the beat of Lady Gaga’s drums,   King Arthur shall lead the Knights into battle, proclaiming:

Work it”

UPDATE  February 11, 2010:  It is with great sadness we hear the news that Alexander McQueen has passed away in an apparent suicide.  Alexander had lost his Mother a few days earlier.   May he now be with those he loved.
