Knights of the Pain Table

A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

Where are You Christmas by Faith Hill Why Can’t I Find You

Where are You Christmas?

Where are you Christmas
Why can’t I find you

Why have you gone away

Where is the laughter
You used to bring me
Why can’t I hear music play

It is a time of colder air and days that grow shorter, this month of December.    It is also a time of expectations.    Whilst the world around us begins to celebrate and prepare for their different feasts, they hope for the return of the light and more blessings.

If you are ill or weakened by abuse, pain, war, poverty or grief, it can be very difficult to find the joy of the season.    Your world may not seem to include celebrations such as Christmas or Hanukkah.     And the fact the rest of the world seems to find joy, can make you feel deeply forsaken.

Today we dedicate this beautiful song from Faith Hill to those who cannot find Christmas.

Amidst the overwhelming darkness do not despair, as King Arthur shall find thee.    And amidst the heavy silence, there will your fellow Knights be.    Christmas is not lost.     It has been where it will always be – in your heart.

If you cannot join the world,  then let Camelot be your world.    Come forth through the gates and let us guide you to the Great Hall.    Lay down your armor dear Warrior and follow the music in your herte, that leadeth to your family of Camelot.    You are not alone, as the Ewerer pours thy mead.   You are not alone, as the Jesters try to please thee.   You are not alone, as Queen Guinevere dances with thee.   You are not alone,  as the love of all in Camelot follows thee.

Do not look out towards the world,  but rather look inside for your precious world.    Your herte will find the way.

We shall be here through the darkness.   Each night we light a candle so that you can always find your way.   We are waiting for you, as you are part of us.

Remember most of all that you are loved.

With a candle in my hand,

Lady Sharon

Where Are You Christmas Lyrics

Where are you Christmas
Why can’t I find you
Why have you gone away
Where is the laughter
You used to bring me
Why can’t I hear music play

My world is changing
I’m rearranging
Does that mean
Christmas changes too

Where are you Christmas
Do you remember
The one you used to know
I’m not the same one
See what the times done
Is that why you have let me go

Christmas is here
Everywhere, oh
Christmas is here
If you care, oh

If there is love in your heart and your mind
You will feel like Christmas all the time

I feel you Christmas
I know I’ve found you
You never fade away
The joy of Christmas
Stays here inside us
Fills each and every heart with love

Where are you Christmas
Fill your heart with love
