Evan Lysacek began skating at the age of eight. His grandmother had always wanted to be in the Ice Capades, so she bought him skates for Christmas. Professional dancer, Anna Trebunskaya began dancing at the age of seven in her native Russia.
Evan Lysacek is an American World Figure Skating Champion, who recently won the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal. Anna Trebunskaya’s parents were professional ballroom dancers who had a dance studio. Anna’s passion for dance has made her a professional ballroom and Latin dancer who has danced in many competitions and was a 2008 U.S. National Professional Latin Finalist. Dancing with the Stars has brought two amazing athletic artists together. Watch their Argentine Tango from last week.
This Argentine Tango with Evan and Anna was the most memorable and passionate thus far in the season of Dancing with the Stars. One could feel the struggle of opposite seductive forces that finally align with beauty. I didst love the stealth walk in the middle of the routine.
Tonight Evan and Anna dance once again. In Camelot we shall await their fate.
