Spelbound Rocks to Led Zeppelin on Britain’s Got Talent
Spelbound
There is geometry in the humming of the strings… there is music in the spacing of the spheres.
~Pythagoras.
Watching the acrobatic athletes of Spelbound combine the music of the spheres with mathematical precision is rather awe-inspiring. Pythagoras, the Greek philosopher, talked about the music of the spheres. In effect the acrobat thinks with the muscles of his/her whole body. When we transfix on this assembly of constant motion, the forms seem to follow a certain harmony with science.
Performing to the song “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin, the male acrobats dressed as ‘fire’ and the females as ‘ice’. The passion of opposites ruled the stage. Watch Spelbound.
