Knights of the Pain Table

A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

Injured Dog Mason Crawls Home on Two Broken Legs After Alabama Tornado

Quote of the Day

For an animal to go through what he’s gone through and not to be ugly, to be happy for any companionship is remarkable,’ Mr Doster told Wavy-TV.

‘We’re honoured to be part of his recovery,’ he added.

On April 27th, a little dog named Mason was hiding in a garage in North Smithfield, Alabama, when the dreaded tornado clutched him up and tossed him away. The United States has been ravaged by these horrendous storms for the past few months.

His family survived but could not find their precious Mason and as two weeks passed they had started to give up hope. But when they returned home to check their belongings, they found Mason sitting on their doorstep. However, he had been badly injured with broken limbs.

Mason had made an incredible journey home. He had to crawl home on two broken front legs to reach his family and he did it.

Mason is now at the animal shelter to heal till his owners can get their lives together. He just underwent an operation to fix plates into his two front legs, that had suffered distal radial unal fractures. In six weeks, hopefully, he will be home with his family.

Phil Doster, who works at the animal shelter that is caring for Mason, was impressed how Mason survived with his severe injuries. He is quoted above which is a quote of true chivalry. Mason has suffered greatly and yet he has held on to the compassion in his heart. He is a true Knight of the Pain Table.

For all those who have been ravaged by the tornadoes and lost loved ones, may they be blest beyond for their suffering. In time may health and peace and sweet content return to their hearts. Camelot remembers you all.

Our deep gratitude to all those who hath given with their hearts to protect and help those who are in need. A special thank you to the animal shelter that is looking after this special little dog.

We doth love thee Mason, Knight of the Pain Table.
