Knights of the Pain Table

A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

They Came, They Sang, They Conquered – Jaydee Bixby, Brian Melo and Carly Rae Jepsen

Jaydee Bixby

Where art thou Squire Jaydee?     Jaydee Bixby, the 17 year old from Drumheller, Alberta, hath finished the Canadian Idol Top 3 Tour.    Along with faithful fellow troubadours, Brian Melo and Carly Rae Jepsen,   Jaydee toured across Canada to devoted audiences.

We hath missed seeing our Squire sing and seeing his gift evolving.   Behold Jaydee at Massey Hall in Toronto singing Elvis’ “Mystery Train”.

On February 13th Jaydee Bixby will be opening for Aaron Lines,   a Canadian Country Musician,   in Fergus, Ontario.

Big Valley Jamboree has announced that Jaydee Bixby will be part of their Camrose, Alberta event in the summer of 2008.    The Big Valley Jamboree is the largest country music festival in Canada and will be starting on Thursday July 31st.    Other headliners are Sugarland,  Randy Owen,  Randy Travis and Marty Stuart.    Bravo Jaydee!

Carly Rae Jepsen

The very pretty Carly “Rae of Sunshine” wraps her voice around the notes and makes it a piece of art with her own signature.    Listen to her upbeat performance of “Put Your Records On” by Corrine Bailey Rae during the tour.

Carly Rae will be appearing at WinterFest, Surrey’s Music Sport and Art Festival, on Saturday February 9th.

Brian Melo

The winner of Canadian Idol,  Brian Melo,  has amazing talent.   Brian now hath his own website www.brianmelo.com, so we can follow his journey as he rides the wave.    We doth hope that Brian continues to sing songs like “She Talks to Angels” by Black Crowes,   as he can tear apart the emotion in a song like this.

We will follow thee charming three, as you ride along the highway of life.  Our Squire Jaydee we bow to thee.

Fare thee well.
