Knights of the Pain Table

A Camelot for Sufferers of Chronic Pain

King Arthur Doth Kneel Upon This Day of Remembrance for Veterans

Remembrance Day in Camelot

I, your King, Arthur Pendragon,   at this special hour,   under the light of goulden candles,   sommon up remembrances of times past. Blessed,   I speaketh to thee,   Warriors with duty great  , who rode to fight for victory in the darkest of nyghts. Mine eyes have seen Veterans with embroidered cloaks,   weary with the toyle of battle, rise with sword in hand

When mine eyes doth see sacrifice with hertes so brave, my herte is raised to a higher realm where angels dwell. My wordes are not enough to honor all of you.

Let all in Camelot now bow our iron heads,   as I speaketh my herte’s wordes true.

We Kneel down.

We kneel down for those who died all alone.
We kneel down for those who went back for a friend.

We kneel down for those who were forgotten.

We kneel down for those who sacrificed, so another lived.
We kneel down for those who witnessed hell.

We kneel down for those whose soul lay shattered from war.
We kneel down for those who never walked the fields of adulthood.

We kneel down for those who found courage where there was none.

We kneel down for those who were tortured and no one came to rescue them.
We kneel down for those who suffered horrendous wounds.
We kneel down for those who feel misunderstood and alone.

We kneel down for those who for cried for mercy.
We kneel down for those who rode with brave hertes.

We kneel down for those who ride among the highest clouds.

We kneel down.

Forget not my precious friends, those whose sword touched heaven’s ayre. We shall always ride with them. To those with broken hertes and fragmented souls, you are not alone. We shall hold thy sword till you are strong again.

We shall light candles of white for those who have fallen.    They are in constant mind in Camelot in this Kingdom of Hertes.     For those Warriors who have lost their way, the gates of Camelot will be alight,   to guide thee to a shelter from the storm.

Your King is humbled to speak of Warriors so brave.    We preye for peace so that no other has to suffer such paine again.

Grant us strength for another day. My herte is with each one of you in Camelot.

With my honor and gratitude,

King Arthur Pendragon,
King of Camelot
